I came here for dinner one evening and had a great time. The inside of the omkase room is comfortable and casual, but still nice. There's a bar section, but also two booths for you to sit at if you choose. We ended up choosing to sit at their booths. We came at 7pm on a Wednesday evening and there was still plenty of space, so you could definitely do a walk-in here. We chose their original omakase set, which included 1 appetizer, 13 nigiri, and 1 kaisendon for 100. We also got a carafe of sake. Everything was great. My favorites of this omakase set were their botan ebi, miso black cod, and uni kaisendon. We also decided to follow up with an otoro handroll and uni nigiri. Loved those pieces and thought that they did them really well. This spot is more traditional (less innovative with their pieces/garnishes) and has a bigger focus on white fish. With each piece, we were shown a powerpoint and picture of the fish. Staff was great. Cool experience, and good omakase in Williamsburg!

Went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and be seated when arrived. The brunch set was only available during the weekend so as first timer I tired the set. The fish were all fresh and quality was great. They taste ALL delicious and I did not get “cheap” fish like salmon. Most of the fish were from Japan and fish portion is enough to fill up. Oh I didn’t mention the set price was only 68 as of 10/6/2024. With tasty fish and uni from Japan, taste handled perfectly by the chef. The service is attentive and welcomed. They don’t push out in 60 mins like other omakase places in Manhattan. I would definitely come back to try the dinner set. Recommend!

Everything here was delicious with good service! Waiter periodically checked in to see if everything was okay & would show us what each fish was which was pretty cool. Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner and the atmosphere was perfect - we got seated by a booth that had a good amount of privacy. No complains about the food since all appetizers, nigiris, hand roll, uni & ikura don, and dessert (cheesecake) were all yummy.

We came here on a really cold day so it wasn’t packed, but staff was welcoming asking if they can take our jackets as we were sitting down. The hostess was ready to pour us shots for taste until we told her were allergic. It was nice of her tho! The dining experience and service were great throughout. The chef was very nice and showed us pictures of the type of fish we were eating. Man was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining about the fish. Sounds like an expert but what do I know haha. But I would def come back again for the sushi, service and they had some good jams too. TLDR: Would I come back? Absolutely How was the sushi? Amazing

An absolutely fantastic culinary experience. Every single piece of the omakase was better than the last, and each one brought a bigger smile to my face and my palate. I appreciate the service of Sato, a master in his craft and a genius in the combination of flavors. I highly recommend booking this for an amazing and novel date night. Also, ask for Sato when booking if you want a good laugh and ample information on each fish.

Our favorite omakase spot in New York. The fish is incredibly fresh, and we’ve had the chance to try rare selections not found elsewhere. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the experience is made even more special by their unique touch, each dish is presented alongside a photo of the fish it came from. This is our happy place
